Wisdom Series Overview

In the Yog-Vedantic teachings, the first aspect of Dharma is self-knowledge. Your first purpose is to know yourself and this knowing of oneself is not static but dynamic. It’s an unfolding, a blossoming, as the Self is ultimately boundless. It’s a journey which keeps on giving inwardly. You keep coming home. And, as time changes, the sense of being "at home" also evolves but, irrespective of what is happening in the theatrical value of life, you are always home.

When karma is infused with awareness and wisdom, it becomes kriya, conscious, evolutionary action. As we evolve, our actions generate liberation rather than bondage. This is the path from karma to dharma; intentional living. We all have karma, but we also have the choice to act in ways that create liberation rather than density. Even when we stumble, we can realign and continue evolving. By maintaining a sequence of higher actions over time, our entire reality begins to shift

The pursuit of liberation isn’t about escaping life. It’s about fully embracing it. In this liberated state, celebration flows naturally. True celebration is not fleeting or followed by a "hangover" of regret. It’s a state of joy and fulfillment that arises from living in alignment with dharma. Come to each moment with a sense of purpose. Discover the jewel that is hiding here and if spirit captures you and wants to sing a song through you, allow it

The untrained mind often sees life as a battle or a problem to solve. However, an understanding of the Great Lila shifts this perspective: life is not a problem to be solved but a play to be enjoyed and in a play, the reward is not in winning but in playing. This life is an infinite game where the Self is an infinite player, and the universe is an infinite playground and by embracing this understanding we free ourselves from the pressure of success and failure. We stop waiting for an endpoint and start enjoying the process itself.

When the present is out of balance, our vision of the past becomes distorted, and our perception of the future is filled with uncertainty and anxiety. The great unknown then appears as a threat rather than an ally. Growth allows us to recognize the grace that is ever-present. The saner we become, the more aligned we are and then the only reasonable attitude to have towards the future is rational, surrendered optimism, and towards the past is radical gratefulness as both past and future exist only as visions from the present

The world is shifting, and so must our understanding of love, relationships, and identity. We are invited to step beyond narrow ideas and embrace a more expansive way of being. Love is not something we find. It’s something we become and by living with openness, generosity, and a deep sense of connection, we create a life full of love, not confined by outdated labels or expectations. Love is not a transaction or a contract. It’s a way of being. And when we embrace this truth, our lives become infinitely richer
